The battery uses a straightforward power interface with optional temperature sensing rather than digital communication. JST-PH 2P can be used as a starting connector, while cable length, terminal position and connector type can be customized around the host PCB. Charging should use a NiMH-specific strategy based on constant current, negative delta-V and temperature or time monitoring. Finished validation can include capacity, DC resistance, open-circuit voltage, polarity, weld condition, connector retention, cable pull, vibration, drop and temperature rise. IEC 62133-1:2026 and IEC 61951-2:2017 plus AMD1:2022 are the principal NiMH references. RoHS, CE and UL requirements are assessed according to the target market and final host product.
